Getting Started

A selection of lighter bites to get you on yer way before the main act...

1. Phat Al's famous Chicken Flamers

Succulent and tender prime chunky chicken pieces with a selection of the following dips; Comeback Sauce (mild), Traditional Chip Shop Curry Sauce, Smokey BBQ, Franks RED HOT, Louisiana Sauce  or Phat Al's own Infinite Inferno Sauce (for those who like it with more kick than Alan Shearer).  

2. BBQ Chicken Wings

Prime quality bird wings with a choice of Smokey BBQ, Franks RED HOT or Phat Al's Infinite Inferno sauce. 

3. Beef / Chicken Nachos

A generous mountain of warm Tortilla Chips with either beef mince in tomato based sauce with beans or seasoned chunks of chicken. Served with or without cheese, guacamole and cream. Good as a sharing plate as you sip on a cold one in the sunshine...   

4. Beef / Chicken Tacos

Regular sized warm taco shells with seasoned beef or chicken chunks, salad leaves and a squeeze of lime to keep it zesty and fresh.  Lite, healthy and also very moorish...

5. Smoked Dinosaur Ribs

Highest quality lean beef ribs seasoned with an authentic BBQ rub, imported straight from Texas and smoked on the BBQ for 6-10 hours until melt in your mouth tender. It will bring out the cave man in you.

6. Phat Al's Legendary slow 'n' low Beef Brisket

Prime packer beef brisket from our friends at Sherwood Meats in Northern Ireland.  Each brisket is carefully prepared the day before where it is seasoned with an authentic BBQ rub, imported from Texas. It's then cooked 'low-n-slow' on Al's favourite BBQ smoker over speciality wood types for 10-16 hours until juicy and tender.   After this, BBQ will never taste the same again. 

7. Classic Grilled Steak

A top quality cut of steak, generously dusted with Montreal seasoning and flame grilled to your liking. Simple, yet highly effective.   Al does his steaks from 'rare' to 'well-done'.  Be sure to tell him exactly how you want it.

8. Classic Surf 'n' Turf

A top quality fillet steak, dusted with Montreal seasoning and flame cooked to your liking on the grill accompanied by 2 North Atlantic lobster tails in butter sauce. Heaven on a plate. 

9. Phat Al's Famous Smash Burgers

Prime, lean (5%) Irish beef patties served with or without the following: bacon, cheese, onions, thin cut tomato slices or mushrooms in a oversized buttery brioche or sesame seed bun. Available as a single, double, triple, or even a 4 burger option for that full-on Scooby-Doo burger experience - Yikes!

10. Spatchcock Chicken

Half a free -range chicken dusted with a choice of either Citrus & Black Pepper or Apple & Honey seasoning and grilled on Al's favourite grill. Chicken cooked on the BBQ this way keeps it mega moist and juicy and avoids it getting 'dried out'.    

11. BBQ Leg of Lamb marinated in a curry sauce

Leg of the finest UK reared lamb, butterflied and seasoned overnight in an Indian spices curry rub  to absorb (but not be overpowered by) the awesome spice flavours and then placed on the BBQ until cooked to perfection. Curry flavours available: Mild, Medium, Tikka Masala, Tandoori, Jalfrezi, Balti & Madras.  Lamb makes a truly awesome BBQ meat.  

12. Lamb / Chicken Shawarma Kebab

Diced Lamb or chicken seasoned with an authentic Lebanese Shawarma rub and cooked over the coals on a skewer until perfectly done. Served in a white or wholemeal pitta bread with crispy leaves and a squeeze of lemon and lime to give it some extra zing.      

13. St Louis cut Pork Ribs

A rack of the finest Sherwood Brand St. Louis cut meaty pork ribs, generously seasoned with a Texas BBQ rub and smoked over apple wood for 6-8 hours until fall-off-the-bone tender.      

14. Ribs & Wing Combo

St. Louis cut meaty pork ribs, generously seasoned with an authentic Texas rub and smoked for 6-8 hours until fall-off-the-bone tender. Accompanied by BBQ Chicken Wings in a choice of flavours: Smokey BBQ, Franks RED HOT, Louisiana or Phat Al's  own Infinite Inferno sauce.

15. Hot Dogs

A choice of sausage:  Texas Hot Links (spicy), English Breakfast, Pork & Caramelised Onion, Lincolnshire, Cumberland served in a white finger roll with onion and a choice of toppings.


Sides

An accompaniment to the meats...

16. Spicy Potato Wedges

Light and fluffy 'tato wedges covered in a lightly spiced seasoning. Nice.

17. Peri-Peri Fries

French Fries style thin cut chips with a mild peri-peri seasoning. It's as simple as that.

18. Baked Tatty

Baked potato done on the BBQ and served with butter and a slight seasoning. 

19. Corn on the Cob

Corn on the cob smothered in butter with a light seasoning of salt, black cracked pepper and fennel seeds grilled on the BBQ for that authentic flavour.  Awesome, one of Al's favourites.
